Please follow these steps to import within Chrome:
1. Click the at the top-right of your Chrome browser, procced to the "Settings" option.
2. Once in the settings of your Chrome browser, you will first want to select the "Privacy and Security" option on the left-side of the page, then procced with selecting the "Security" sub option.
3. Within the "Security" option, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the "Manage certificates" option.
4. After you select "Manage certificates", a new window will appear and allow you to import the cert file that will be given from IT, procced by clicking the "Import..." option.
5. Once the "Import..." option has been selected you will be pulled into the Wizard. Procced by selecting "Next".
6. When adding the cert needing to import, select the "Browse..." option. Then procced with select the cert that you would like to import (this should be a .cer file type). Once you have the correct file selected for import, procced by clicking "Next".
7. Select the first "Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate" option, then procced by clicking "Next".
8. You will be brought to this page in the Wizard to review the completion of the import, if all looks correct proceed by clicking "Finish". You will get the "The import was successful" window once this has been correctly imported. You should then be able to close this window, please remember refresh your Chrome browser for the certificate to take affect. If you run into any error(s) at this step, please contact the help desk in IT.
