Export Google Calendar to .ics File

Open Google Calendar:
- Go to Google Calendar in your web browser and log in with your Google account.

Access Calendar Settings:
- On the left side of the screen, locate the calendar you want to export. Hover over the calendar name to reveal a set of icons.
- Click the three vertical dots (Options) next to the calendar name and select “Settings and sharing” from the dropdown menu.

Export the Calendar:
- Underneath the 'Calendar Settings' boxes there will be an 'Export Calendar' option
- Select that and Google will create a .zip file to your computer

Save the File:
- If the file is automatically downloaded, it will be saved to your default download location (e.g., Downloads folder).
- If it opened in a new tab, you might need to right-click on the page and select “Save As” to save the .ics file to your computer.

Unzip iCal file
- Locate the folder in your downloads and right-click the file and select 7-Zip , Extract All Here
- This will create the calendars in a format that Outlook and import from
ENSURE THAT THE OUTLOOK DESKTOP APP IS IN THE 'OLD' VERSION
(upper right hand slider)
The import will not work on the newer version of Outlook
- Double click the desired calendar to pair with Outlook, the events in the calendar will populate (depending on the size of the calendar)
