Note: All service account printing is configured to a dept. based on the access request that is given to IT, if a user will be printing for multiple depts. with their service account, please make sure to note this in the access request so the account can be properly configured. ALL STUDENT WORKERS MUST HAVE AN SAU SERVICE ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO PRINT.
Users who are not considered to be staff or faculty but are needing the ability to print for a dept., an active SAU service account must requested if not already done so through an access request form in IT. Once the user has received the login information for their SAU service account, they should login with this account from an SAU computer that is connected to the network. As long as the user is signed-in with their SAU service account, all printing that is done is tied to the dept. printing budget that the account is tied to. For those who use their SAU service account to print for multiple depts., you will need to request to have the papercut client installed on an SAU computer used during your shift, this will allow you to switch printing for multiple depts.
