Unzipping .ZIP files

Step 1: Locate the compressed file

• Open the folder or directory where the compressed file is saved. 

Step 2: Select the compressed file

• Find the compressed file you want to unzip.
• Click on the file to select it. 

Step 3: Extract the compressed file

• Right-click on the selected compressed file.
• In the context menu that appears, choose "Extract" or "Extract Here." This option may vary depending on the file archiving software you have installed on your computer. 

Step 4: Choose the extraction destination

• A window will open, prompting you to choose the destination where you want to extract the files.
• Browse through your file system and select the folder where you want the extracted files to be saved.
• Click on the "Extract" or "OK" button to start the extraction process. 

Step 5: Wait for the extraction to complete

• The extraction process may take a few moments, depending on the size of the compressed file and your computer's performance. 

Step 6: Access the extracted files

• Once the extraction is complete, navigate to the destination folder you selected in Step 4.
• You should see the extracted files in that folder.
